Who are YOU running for?
Here are some pics of our Terry Fox Run on Wednesday. There were some pretty red faces, and some exhausted looks, but we kept going because Terry didn't stop, so we weren't going to either. Except for some sips of water maybe. Or to pick up some flowers and leaves. And maybe to lie in the shade in the grass. Just a typical day in Kindergarten :)

Way to go KINDIES you would have made Terry PROUD!!!!

FABULOUS FRIDAY
In Kindergarten our JK's regularly do a variety of activities to practice their name. Here is one of our superstar students and his amazing work!

We also get to spend a lot of time outdoors, exploring nature and using our senses. Check out our leaf rubbings.

We even got to see our leaves close up! Under a micro-camera!!!!! SO COOL

And all this was done in ONE DAY!!!!!!!! So Fabulous Friday? I think so!!!!!

What's new
We are just beginning to read in Kindergarten and since some of us don't even know all of the alphabet, reading in basic patterns and familiar print is a great idea. This activity was a little tricky at first but with some modelling they were fantastic!!!! I think I may do this again with traffic signs.
Chester is our Racoon friend, he comes to visit us sometimes and we have his cousin in our Library!!!
